The 244's are a two piece blues-rock band from Southern California. The members are father and son, and started playing together in 2018. The band blends a mixture of cruising blues melodies, cover tunes and occationally hits on the fuzz for some good ol' rock and roll.
History
The band was named in honor of a family friend named Larry Burford and his modified Ford roadster. Larry was a lifelong speed addict, who raced all the way into his 80’s setting countless speed records and was among the godfathers of natural land speed racing in Southern California. We use 244 to pay homage and carry on his legacy.
